Tampa, FloridaWilliam "Bill," a founding partner, has over 35 years of sales and management experience in the business community. After graduating from Virginia Tech, he spent 20 years with IBM in
sales and management positions before electing to take early retirement in 1982. After leaving IBM, he joined a prominent executive search firm in the DC area. A few years later he relocated to the Tampa Bay area where he started, owned and managed three successful businesses. He has now re-entered the executive search business where he specializes in finding partner-level attorneys for law firms nationwide.
Bill has three grown children, lives on the Gulf of Mexico, relishes the sunsets at happy hour and is frequently seen cruising the intercoastal waters. He enjoys Scuba diving, restoring old muscle cars and riding motorcycles.
Robert M. Blair
Managing Partner
Washington, D.C.Robert "Bob" is one of the founding partners of Williams & Roberts, Inc. with his office located in the suburbs of Northern Virginia, often referred to as the DC Metropolitan Area.
After serving a three-year Army stint, which included a one-year tour of duty in Vietnam in '68-'69 as an Army Artillery Officer, Bob completed his undergraduate degree in Public Administration at Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, VA in the spring of 1971.
While considering Law School and a future political career, Bob instead accepted a position with IBM Corporation, which led to a successful 30-year career with several of the most respected Information Technology companies in the industry. During his career, he held key senior executive positions in Sales, Marketing and Management.
Bob is married with three children and resides in Fairfax, Virginia. If not seen playing golf at International C.C in Fairfax, he often can be spotted cruising down the back roads of Virginia enjoying the serenity of life aboard his custom soft-tail Harley Davidson motorcycle.
